Holiday Dinner Rolls

1 C warm milk

½ C butter or margarine

½ C sugar

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

2 pkg dry yeast

4-5 C flour

Dissolve yeast in milk, stir in rest of ingredients and 3 cups flour. Mix well, then work in more flour and knead until dough is workable and smooth. Form into ball, place in bowl and cover. Let dough rise about 1 ½ hours, until double. Put dough out on floured board, roll out, half at a time, to about ½ inch thickness. Cut triangles and roll each triangle into crescent shape, or cut circles and fold in half to make dinner rolls. Place onto well-greased baking pan, let rise another hour. Bake at 350 for 12 –15 minutes, until tops are lightly browned.
