Sauté sliced garlic, then add cook peas (of any type) down until there is little liquid left. Therefore, time is needed to cook sliced garlic clove to cook into the peas 1st.  Toward the end, add parsley (fresh or dried) according to taste. Let it cook through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
