Holiday Pumpkin Cake

1 C flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp soda

½ tsp salt

¾ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp cloves

⅛  tsp allspice

⅛  tsp ginger

1 C sugar

2 eggs

1 C canned pumpkin

½ C vegetable oil

¾ C 40% bran flakes, do not crush

½ C chocolate chips

½ C chopped walnuts

Beat eggs until foamy. Add pumpkin, oil and bran flakes, mix well by hand. Add sifted dry ingredients stir only until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread in lightly greased bundt pan. Bake at 350° for one hour. Frost with confectioner’s sugar glaze.
